LaMangaBooking.com grew more than Spanish rental marked in general in 2023, and we expect our growth to continue in 2024, based on what we know now. Why do expect 2024 to grow?

- First of all, we see that the season is getting longer, at the same time as the summers are still strong. Even the summers has been quite warm the recent year, it is still very comfortable temperatures and climate in La Manga between the two seas. We see that our guest continue to escape the warm summer cities where they live, in order to enjoy the amazing La Manga summers. But the warmer summers, is giving us longer season, where especially the fall is growing rapidly. September is now our third best month, and we will not be surprised if October is soon the forth best month.

- When you read this, LaMangaBooking has already launched it's new web page and property management system. This is "state of the art" property rental systems, with endless possibilities. We will able to reach new markets, grow in existing markeds, and maybe the best, we expect an increase in both bookings and prices.

- La Manga is experiencing increased interest, and public investments to improve the destination. This is very good news for you as a property owner in La Manga, as you can expect favorable price development, and a higher rental income the coming years. San Javier municipality and Murcia region are investing in La Manga to make it a year round destination, and have especially focus on active/sport tourism. During the winter 2024, we have seen the opening of 3 sports grounds in La Manga, with one smaller one for training outside the sport hall(km 12), a multi sport area next to the Estacio bridge(km 13), and an amazing football field at km 14. And rumors say that this is just the beginning. . .

Before you choose to rent your holiday home in La Manga, we think it is important that you do a well thought off choice, and consult with your family/friend/partner that is using the property, before you choose to rent out. Rental income can be easy money, but as any income, it doesn't come without any effort and sacrifice. 3 things we suggest that you take into consideration before signing a rental contract:

- How much will you use the property yourself? If you and your family, will use the property all season(summer), you will not earn much, since off season is typical only paid with 1/4 of high season, and the demand is a lot lower. We would normally not sign in a property that is occupied with a lot of personal use, as it wouldn't give any of us with the possibility to make a good income.

- Prepare the property for rent. With this we mean that you should leave the property as you would like to find it your self, but as a paying rental client, not an owner. Remove typical personal items(such as photos of kids and family), and / or valuable items that doesn't give you extra rentals and income. Make your place clean and clutter free, so it is doesn't feel like your invading someones personal place.

- Don't expect that your place is left exactly, as it was when you left it. Both tenants, and our cleaning/maintenance team, will move items in your holiday home, to make it nice and comfortable. Also during rentals, a plate, a glass or other items might wear out, get broken or disappear. We will re-place this missing items from our standard stock, so it might be slightly different then what you had. If you want your place to be exactly as you left it, maybe rental isn't for you?
